Equniox at The Landing Saturday 9/20

The Landing welcomes you to our annual Fall Equinox gathering. This year, we’ll mark the day when day and night are perfectly balanced by starting in the daytime and going into the night in equal measure.
We’re also thrilled to welcome back to The Landing, the incredible To All My Dear Friends, who are releasing their new album, “Bloom.” TAMDF played at Dreamtide a couple years ago and absolutely stole the show.
The Gypsy Swingers, Logos, and 9th Phoenix will round out the nighttime entertainment.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. with our Outdoor Bazaar. There will be d.j.’s, food, performers, vendors, and family friendly activities.

Then at 9, we’ll move into the Warehouse for the night time festivities.
As always at The Landing, entrance is pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $8-15.
We look forward to marking the beginning of Autumn with you!

We’ll have live music and dj’s, including Logos, SMNCHNT, Gilbot, and a host of others.
Phil will be hosting boffer weapon battles in the woods.
Members of Clan Destiny Circus will be peforming and facilitating open circus jam. We’ll be serving delicious food made with love by Ambra,Eddy Van DingerDingRetep, and Andor. There will be art, ritual, flow arts, workshops, and much more throughout the day!
Admission is free, though donations are greatly appreciated. And children are welcome.

About The Landing

Welcome to The Landing! We are locate in the heart of West Asheville, snuggled into the cozy mountains of Western North Carolina.

The Landing is a space where creativity and sustainability thrive. This artist’s community includes 5 different spaces on 2 1/2 acres of forest. Our residences are: Proper House, Bedlam, The Pod, The Take-Off, and The aWarehouse.

The aWarehouse houses six artist’s studios, a cushioned and carpeted movement area with mirrors and circus equipment, a stage, shared art studio, recording and music studio in the process of being built. The aWarehouse is available for rent for classes, workshops, shows, and community events.

Many of us spend a lot of time outdoors in our lovely community gardens. The community shares focus and interest in sustainability, holistic living, and the Arts (circus, dance, music, visual, intellectual, and other living arts). If anyone would like to help with any of these projects please contact us and let us know your availability.
